We are looking for someone with skill and passion in Digital and Social Media Marketing to drive engagement across our online presence.

In this role, there’s a clear focus on capturing data and reporting - to ensure our marketing budget is being used in the most efficient way to generate quality enquiries.

We do not hard sell or cold call. We do nurture and grow our inbound enquiries for those clients who could benefit from our service and support them in remaining engaged throughout their journey with us.

Reporting to the Marketing and Media Manager, you’ll assist with developing a distinct online presence, creating strategies and campaigns to increase SEO and be responsible for compiling analytics and engagement reports to assess performance across paid and organic campaigns.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN

Boost engagement across our digital and social media channels, creating effective campaigns (paid and organic) and managing and reporting on their performance. Curate and create engaging content for distribution across our online channels, including industry news, blog articles, newsletters, infographics, video etc. Assist with the development of our digital strategy, offering ideas and recommendations to increase awareness and engagement. Assist with the development of a content calendar to pro-actively schedule marketing activity. Keep up to date with competitor activity and digital trends. Assist with other marketing tasks (such as events) when required.

  • Degree level qualification in Marketing preferred but not essential if relevant experience can be demonstrated. Recent Digital Marketing Graduates also considered.
  • Demonstrable marketing experience with a focus on Digital and Social Media management
  • A working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research, Google Analytics and link building
  • Good understanding of Adwords and PPC in general
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Experience of:
  • Using online marketing tools such as SEMrush, Moz , Hootsuite (or similar) would be advantageous
  • Creating targeted HTML email campaigns
  • Using a website CMS
  • You don’t necessarily need experience of financial services, pensions or investments. We can teach you that.

Along with a good working knowledge and experience of delivering marketing campaigns, especially digital, the right approach and work ethic is key to succeeding at Joslin Rhodes.

From a technical and regulatory viewpoint, we are Independent Financial Advisers. However, we operate completely differently from traditional financial advice firms because we do not focus solely on selling financial products. Instead, we use our PlanHappy life coaching service to help people plan their life and retirement and enable them to enjoy their desired lifestyle free from worry.

We operate from The Planning Rooms at Preston Farm, Stockton on Tees and serve clients throughout Teesside and Darlington.

We tend to recruit from outside the Financial Services Industry so that our people aren’t ingrained with the ‘normal’ way of offering financial products, as we do things so differently here.

Instead, we focus on people who can bring the personal skill set and experience to be successful in their role, we can teach any of the financial knowledge that may be required.
